Passports are in my hands!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!

It's 11:47am and Anna just returned with passports and we are rushing to get in the car to Kiev. Now I'm praying that we have safe travels and get to Kiev in time to do medicals done.

Blessings <><,
David

Yes! GO GO GO - get those medicals done. Hope you have lovely accomodations in Kiev (no dark scary stairways!) Oh what the heck who cares, you'll only be there for such a short period of time. Thanks for taking the time in the midst of rushing to get out the door to let us know.

Ha! Kim, I just read your comment and was cracking up. I was thinking the same thing. No scary hallways, but WHO CARES at this point?!! :) Give them a scary stairway, just get them home (although I pray they do have a nice place to stay!

Funny: I just talked to David on the phone and they were about halfway to Kiev. He said the Kaiser's are in your apt Kim, but all he wants is an apartment close to the Friday's in Kiev. He wants to walk to Friday's and eat there! Ha! David sounds great! He said he was doing much better today anyway, but I'm sure his mood improved even more when they got those passports. When I was talking to him, he had to go because they stopped at the "toilet". It's actually an outhouse that barely has a cover and if the car is angled the passengers can clearly see you squatting over a hole in the ground. That's all there is (did I write about this in an earlier post?). Anyway, it's a step below our port-o-potties. So, David was having to go to help the girls. He is for sure getting his daddy bonding time with the children!! Praise the Lord! I know you all are praising God with us!

And all God's people said AMEN! Joining you all in your happiness. I imagine a happy, smiling group of travelers in my mind today. I wish that I could read Maks mind and know what all he's thinking today. He seems the one that anticipates and gets this the most. How exciting for them. Jenny! Are you ready?! I cannot imagine how happy you are to be closer to having David and the children home. Here we go!

I literally screamed and clapped my hands when I read this - which wouldn't be a problem except I had just told my students to be quiet and listen respectfully to the principal giving the morning announcements! Oh well, nothing he was saying could be near the importance of this great news! So go - your amazing race is almost over and you will be home where you ALL belong!
