but we do have our plane tickets. We are officially headed to the Ukraine on Friday, April 24th. Wow! God is continuing to take care of every single detail. Our van sold on Friday, so now we are in the search for a vehicle for 8. Our kids here are excited that their gym teacher is going to be staying with them and caring for them while we're gone. On her own, our oldest daughter, sweet Keely, is planning how take care of her sister and brother and the house while we're gone. Please pray that I won't have to be gone long. I want to be excited about the trip, but am letting fear of being away from my kids for ??? weeks, take away from this praise of the court date. Please also pray for our kids in the Ukraine. I called to tell them this week that we had a date and would be there soon. They were in tears because a month seems like forever to them. They kept asking, "but what is the date that we will be home with you in America?" Makc did tell me 2 or 3 times that he "would wait for us." Such the little man. I can't wait to get him home so that he can be a little boy!

wow I thought i already commented on this... so exciting. and we just might overlap. as much as i love you, i'm hoping we pass in the air, and not on the ground in kiev. i'm ready to have my brood all on one continent. i know you can relate.
Yes, the unknown length of the stay in Ukraine would be unsettling to me, also. I'll be praying for the fastest process and in-country stay in the history of Ukrainian adoptions :) And most importantly for His peace to rule in your heart and mind as you travel. God has your children on both continents in His ever-loving hands...and it won't be too much longer until your family is altogether. What an exciting day that will be!
